Access and Evacuation

The University of Bedfordshire endeavours to make its buildings accessible to all including

• Ramped entry or other accessible means of entry
• Accessible toilets
• Automatic doors inside some buildings
• Lifts

Evacuation in the event of a fire alarm

It is important for Health and Safety reasons that staff are aware of customers with mobility difficulties. If you feel that you would require additional help in leaving the building in the event of an emergency please let staff know when you are in the building.

Hearing impaired

There are no visual alarms in our libraries. Your disability officer can provide you with your own alerter.
