Full Text Finder

What is Full Text Finder?

Full Text Finder provides direct links from DISCOVER and other individual databases (particularly ones which only hold abstracts) to the full text of the electronic journal (if the University has access to it) and a link to the library catalogue to check if the journal is available in print.

How does it work?

When looking at your results in a database such as Scopus, you'll see the Full Text Finder icon

When you click on this a new browser window will open.  If the article is available to UoB as full text, you will be given one or more links to where the full text is accessible (date coverage is usually shown too). If there are no full text options, there will be a link to the Library catalogue to check if the journal is held in print format.
