PCs and Macs

University PCs
University PCs are available throughout Luton and Bedford libraries on a first come, first served basis.
University Network Acceptable Use Policy [PDF]
University Macs
Macs are available at both the Luton and Bedford campus libraries:
- Luton Campus Library: Levels 1 to 4
- Bedford Campus Library: Levels 1 and 3
To print from a Mac, please use myprint.beds.ac.uk
Important: Save your work to a USB drive before you log out, as student network drives are not accessible from University Macs.
Logging on/off
To log on to a university computer, enter your username (student number) and password.
If you have forgotten your password, please speak to a member of staff at the Customer Service Desk, or you can call the library. A member of the team will be happy to help.
Keep your login details secure and never share your password with anyone.
To keep your work safe and your personal data secure, it is important to log out when you finish using a library PC. You should never leave a computer logged on and unattended, even for a short period, as this could allow someone else to access your files and personal information.
