How to apply
Complete the online application form. You will need to provide a passport style photo and proof of address which you can attach to your form.

Your applications need to include:
- A passport style photo
- Proof of address
- Authorisation from your school to apply
Each pupil’s application must include an authorisation form completed by their school.
Please complete the Local School Authorisation form [DOCX], save it, and email it to the pupil so they can upload it easily as part of their online application.
Application processing and library ID card collection
Once all documents are received, and we process your application, you will need to accept terms and conditions for using Luton and Bedford campus libraries. This will be sent to the email address you put on your form.
You will be emailed when your ID card is ready to collect.
Please allow up to 10 days for your application to be processed.
Before visiting the library to collect your card, please check staff will be available to help you.
Due to high demand, we may not be able to provide immediate updates on individual applications.
