Laptops for Loan: London Bridge Campus
London Bridge campus library has laptops available for students to use while studying in the library and at home. Laptops can be loaned for one week. For example, if you borrow a laptop on a Monday, it should be returned by 4pm, the following Monday.
Please call ahead to ensure staff are available to issue your laptop on: 0300 300 0042 or 0207 015 9485.
Visit the library customer service desk to issue your laptop. You will be asked to sign a terms and conditions agreement form. You can download the form [PDF] in advance or there is a copy at the library customer services desk.
No, laptops are free of charge!
No, one laptop per student at any one time.
Laptops must be returned by 4pm the next day the campus is open. There is no option to reserve or renew.
Laptops that are overdue will accrue fines of £1 per day or part day, if overdue for more than 7 days the user will be invoiced for the full replacement cost of £700. The breakdown of the cost is £628 including VAT and an admin charge of £71.20. The users and their library account will be frozen.
No, you cannot install your own software on the laptop.
Please use USB, iCloud or OneDrive. Do not save any work to the desktop as the files are automatically wiped when the laptop is turned off.
Any laptops found unattended will be removed by staff and the borrower will fall into our 3 strikes sanctions.
As early as possible, you must report a lost or stolen University laptop to the Police and the University.

- To report a stolen device, please visit the nearest Police station or call 101 so you can be given a crime reference number.
