Bedford lies 50 miles north of London on the main A6 route. It is between the main north-south link roads, the M1 and the A1, offering easy access to the north and south of the country.
The campus is within walking distance of the train station (about 30 minutes) and there are always taxis available at the station.
The University also runs a shuttle bus connecting the Bedford campus with Bedford town centre. You may use the service with a staff ID card,student ID card or University visitor bus pass. Go to more information and timetable

First Floor

- Research and study skills support from the Academic Liaison Librarians, and MOT (Microsoft Office Trainers)
- Print journals
- Social area with a 'Reading for pleasure' collection
2nd Floor
- Main book stock
- Silent study (a protected space as students can talk openly in all other areas of the library)
3rd Floor
- Teaching and training suites
- Second computer suite
Teaching Practice room
- Great range of resources useful for training teachers to use whilst on placement
- Can take out up to 20 items from here.
No ID no entry
All library customers at every campus are encouraged to wear face coverings while in the library
2m social distancing throughout the library
Staff will be operating from the ground floor customer service desk behind an acrylic screen
Sanitisation stations are available throughout the library so library customers can sanitise their hands as well as sanitise their workstations before and after use
