HeinOnline is a source for traditional legal materials (cases, statutes, government regulations, academic law reviews, law journals, and classic treatises); historical, governmental, and political documents; and world constitutions, international treaties, and other documents of international organisations. The database includes more than 100 million pages of materials in an online fully searchable format. Video tutorial.

LexisPSL Dispute Resolution focuses on the requirements of legal practitioners working within the field of civil litigation. It contains topical information, news, key resources, and toolkits (for example a Brexit toolkit and a GDPR toolkit). It also contains a Getting the Deal Through Comparator tool, which enables you to compare systems in different jurisdictions.

XpertHR is a database targeted at Human Resources practitioners, providing the latest developments in all aspects of employment relations and related law. In the Tools tab you can access an Employment Law Manual, legislation, and case law, as well as guidance written in plain English which interprets the law for HR practitioners.

Oxford Reports on International Law (ORIL) has set new standards for currency and coverage of public international case law, reporting on international courts, domestic courts and ad hoc tribunals.

Legislation.gov.uk is the official government website publishing all UK legislation. It is managed by The National Archives on behalf of HM Government.

The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) contains case law, legislation, EU case law, Law Commission reports, and other British and Irish legal materials. BAILII uses a simple website format, but don't be deceived by its appearance: it is a well respected source of legal materials.

Hansard is a “substantially verbatim” report of what is said in Parliament. Members’ words are recorded, and then edited to remove repetitions and obvious mistakes, albeit without taking away from the meaning of what is said. Hansard also reports decisions taken during a sitting and records how Members voted to reach those decisions in Divisions.

The House of Commons Library publishes briefing papers on legislation proceeding through Parliament, as well as deposited papers, which MPs and ministers place in the Library in reply to parliamentary questions.

The Justice website contains numerous resources for legal professionals in the UK, including daily court listings and procedure rules.

Infolaw publishes a newsletter, offers CPD competence courses, and produces a catalogue of legal resources online called Lawfinder. It aims to support legal professionals conduct research online.
