General resources
In this section you will find a list of useful general resources across all fields of psychology.
Use the library catalogue to find print books and electronic books held by the University of Bedfordshire. You can also find journal titles and databases here - but you cannot search for individual journal articles on the library catalogue.
Use DISCOVER to search journal articles and the library catalogue simultaneously. Discover is a multidisciplinary database with a vast range of resources. If you are finding too much irrelevant material, try one of the specialist psychology databases below.
This is the main full-text database for Psychology. It includes all the journals published by the American Psychological Association back to the first issue, as well as journals from other publishers.
This index provides access to the international literature of psychology material related to the psychological aspects of education, medicine, business, sociology and psychiatry. It contains abstracts of journal articles from 1887 as well as books and book chapters from 1987.
APA PsycTESTS is a highly useful resource for psychological measures, scales, and instrumentation tools.
Criminology and forensic psychology

You will find links to download SPSS and Nvivo below. Please note that support and training for this software is provided by the School of Psychology and not the library.
