Laptops for Loan: Aylesbury Campus
Aylesbury campus library has laptops available for students to use while studying in the library and at home. Library laptops can be loaned for one week.
Please call ahead to ensure staff are available to issue your laptop on: 01296 734301 or 01296 734308.
Visit the library customer service desk to issue your laptop. You will be asked to sign a terms and conditions agreement form.
- Library laptops can be loaned for 7 days. It should be returned on the 8th day.
- Loans are free
- One laptop per student
- No reservations
- No renewals
- If the laptop is overdue for more than 8 days, the user will be invoiced for the full replacement cost of £700.The breakdown of the cost is £628 including VAT and an admin charge of £71.20.
- Work should be saved to your OneDrive or USBstick.
- All files on the laptop's hard drive will be deleted once it is returned and cannot be recovered.
- Any laptops found unattended will be removed by staff and the borrower will fall into our 3 strikes sanctions

- Visit the customer service desk so Library staff can issue you with a laptop. Library staff are available between 08.30pm and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
- Return the laptop to the customer service desk. Library staff are available between 08.30pm and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Outside of these times, you can leave it with security.
As early as possible, you must report a lost or stolen University laptop to the Police and the University.
- For a lost device: please go to Report My Loss and follow the instructions to report the missing item.
- To report a stolen device, please visit the nearest Police station or call 101 so you can be given a crime reference number.
- To report the loss or theft to the University call 01582 743 488.
