Organisations

• Skills Funding Agency - The Skills Funding Agency is a partner organisation of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and it exists to fund and promote adult further education (FE) and skills training in England.

• Education Funding Agency - is the Department's delivery agency for funding and compliance

• Get into teaching - Details on the different training routes into teaching.

• Standards and Testing Agency (STA) - is the executive agency for the Department for Education and is responsible for the development and delivery of all statutory assessments from early years to the end of Key Stage 3.

• The National College for Teaching and Leadership - The National College for Teaching and Leadership aim is to improve the quality of the education workforce and supports schools to help each other improve.  The National College and the Teaching Agency merged in April 2013 to form The National College for Teaching and Leadership.

• The Higher Education Academy (HEA) supports the enhancement of learning and teaching in higher education inn the UK. Advises on policies and practices relating to the student experience, curriculum developments, assessment and much more.

• National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER)  NFER is a lead organisation for schools and communities and for knowledge reviews.
