Library tips to make yourself ready for university studies

- Increase your self-confidence to improve your learning. You can do this by reflecting on your old challenges and achievements. By thinking what helped you in the past, you can put plans in place to help you with challenges that you may face in the future. Check our guides on how to reflect
- Develop your resilience, to have perseverance is a great skill. Have a few strategies ready for when you feel that you are overwhelmed, such as:
- Try to go out for fresh air.
- Stay in touch with family, friends and peers.
- Make a routine that works for you including studying, socialising and resting.
- Keep active, you can join the free gym at UoB, you can go out for walks or cycling.
