Introduction

Thanks to the World Wide Web anybody can look for information, in fact we often find too much, and most of it isn't any good! Studying at university means finding relevant, high quality academic information you can use confidently in assignments.

This subject guide is written for any students following Teaching, Education Studies, Early Years, Childhood & Youth Studies, Special Educational Needs or Disability Studies courses at UoB.  There are links on the menu [left] to help you navigate to a particular webpage .

These pages will help you identify which resources you can use to find that relevant high quality scholarly information. On these pages you will find evaluative descriptions of each resource, hints and tips on how to search for information and guidance on where you can go to get further help and advice.

So, good luck in your searching and if you need further guidance or help using these resources, you can contact Adele, either in person at the Customer Service Desk or by email or telephone.  Full details on where to go for help can be found on our help & support page.
