Law School

The Law School requires use of the OSCOLA referencing scheme. OSCOLA stands for The Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities. The following resources are available to support you:

Department of Performing Arts & English

Students on the MA English course use the Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA) style.


Psychology uses the APA system. The University of Huddersfield has a comprehensive web guide and others are available online - just make sure you use a guide for the 7th edition of APA.

Always consult your unit handbook or tutor to make sure you are using the correct system for the unit.
