What software can I use at home?
Adobe Creative Cloud
Access to Adobe Creative Cloud is ending on 6 July. Adobe announced that the following apps still have free features: Adobe Portfolio, Adobe Spark, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (for mobile), Adobe Premiere Rush, Adobe XD, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, Adobe Scan
DaVinci Resolve is an alternative free video editor you can use from home. Please see Adobe's guide to exporting projects for other applications if you would like to work on an existing project in an alternative video editor.
Microsoft Office
You can download Microsoft Office from https://portal.office.com. Please check our instructions on how to download and install Office.
The following applications are available from the Library catalogue. Click the link and login using your normal University username and password to obtain the instructions.
SPSS
SPSS is a software package used for statistical analysis. This is the version currently in use on all University computers.

How can I request an appointment to get help with my assignments? (academic writing, maths, researching, referencing, computer skills)
The Study Hub team are available to help you with academic writing, maths, study skills, researching, referencing and computer skills. To request an online or phone appointment email studyhub@beds.ac.uk
Please include in your email some possible dates and times when you can attend an appointment as well as a brief summary of what you would like help with.
What is the Digital Library?
The library has a wide range of digital or electronic resources, this could be ebooks, newspapers and ejournals. Find out more about the Digital Library.
Where can I find out about the best digital library resources for my course?
Look at the Subject Guides on LRWEB. Written by the Academic Liaison Librarian for your subject, they’ll tell the best resources to search for journal articles and much more.

What if I’m having a problem accessing resources?
If you are having problems accessing resources please email library.technical@beds.ac.uk
Tell us exactly what you are trying to access, your ID number so we can check your account, as as much detail as you can about what is going wrong - a screenshot really helps. The more information you can give us, the quicker we will be able to help you.
How can I find my reading list?
You can either search on your BREO unit or go direct to the readinglists page and search by your unit name.

Sconul Access scheme
The Sconul Access scheme is currently suspended. Your membership card will not be accepted at any University library and any applications for membership or a renewal, will not be accepted or processed.
Renewals
All current loans will be renewed up to 40 times so no items will be fined over the closure period. Any existing fines or Bills will still be place now we have re-opened. Please could all long term loans be returned to any University of Bedfordshire campus library at your convenience.
Reservations
The reservations service is now running – your collection email has advice on when to pick up your items.
Document Supply
All eligible groups ie Staff & Researchers and Post graduates may request Document Supply items as required. Please see the details in the following links:
