Updates from your Library

14.4.21 update. Your University of Bedfordshire Libraries are open on temporary, reduced opening hours for essential use only. Our Welcome pages give you a taster of what is available, including a list of digital resources, and how things are different this semester.

Please remember

  • If you have COVID symptoms do not visit campus
  • Have a LFT https://covidbeds.simplybook.pro/v2/
  • On campus maintain social distance (2m) and wear a face covering unless you are exempt

Group work in the library (including filming) is suspended: the University of Bedfordshire has kept its campus libraries open on government advice which specifies individual study to identified cohorts of students only. All group study rooms and furniture set ups in the library have been put out of use. This is not negotiable but these suggestions may help any students with group work:

  • Try and find a classroom to use on a walk in basis - this will not guarantee that you won’t be disturbed
  • email your academic and they can book a room with University timetabling on your behalf

For tips and information on what we offer and using the Library, please check our Library services pages.

Our Remote service FAQs will answer questions about using Library services from a remote location.
