Have you ever been in a bookshop or at friends house and wondered if the University of Bedfordshire library stocks the item you are looking for? If so, then here's how to simply scan the barcode and find out immediately!
Depending on which phone you have, follow the instructions below to search the Library Catalogue from anywhere, quickly and simply, and without having to type anything in.
1. Load your phone's browser and download and install the Zbar barcode reader app from the link below:
2. Open the app and click on 'settings'
3. Choose 'custom search URL' and enter the following address:
http://library.beds.ac.uk/search/i?
4. Now return to the home screen and scan the barcode of the item you wish to search for
5. Once the barcode has been scanned press the 'custom search' button and you will be taken to the Library Catalogue and informed if we have the item.
