Eduroam

Eduroam

Eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, international service that lets staff and students from participating institutions have access to the Internet via wi-fi when visiting member institutions.

The University of Bedfordshire has joined this service. It will be of particular use to students and staff who use other Universities (nearer home) during vacation periods and part time students who take advantage of Higher Education cooperation schemes such as Sconul Access and M25.

To use this service you will need to configure your laptop or WiFi compatible device on Campus at one of the main University sites.. There are far too many kinds of wifi compatible devices to mention here but LRC Customer Service staff can offer information on the most popular systems

Once configured to access the Internet your authentification for use is:

Username: Reg no followed by your institution's  domain (e.g. XXXXXXXX@beds.ac.uk)

Password:  usual network password
