The University of Bedfordshire is a part of several national access schemes which allow you to visit many university libraries. These include:
Your Academic Liaison Librarian (ALL) should be able to recommend particular libraries that they consider to have good resources in your subject area. To find out who your ALL is check here http://lrweb.beds.ac.uk/help/ALLs
You may wish to use a University near to your home if you are a part time or distance student, you may also use these schemes.
If the University you plan to use is a part of Eduroam make sure you have configured your chosen laptop or wifi compatible device before you set off.
You are advised to check what the access arrangements are with each library before travelling. Not all university libraries participate in the schemes detailed in the panel on the left of your screen. Many restrict access during busy periods.
The libraries you are entitled to use can be found here. Use the drop down lists to indicate "What kind of user you are " and "Tell us the name of your University" and click "Find".
Don't forget the Public Library Service - some have specialist collections and most have pc access via the People's Network. Find a public library within 5 miles of your address, click here Public Library
If we are contacted by any library in a co-operation scheme with the University of Bedfordshire, to be told that one of our students has over due or lost items (from that library) your University of Bedfordshire accounts will be blocked until the items are returned.
