The following guidelines have been devised in agreement with the Student Union and aim to provide you with a safe, secure and pleasant working environment. It will also make you aware of all legalities, thus ensuring you work within the rules that govern you while in the LRC. Sanctions are applied if you do not comply with these regulations. These range from a 1-3 week ban on using lending services, suspension of your Learning Resources accounts, to disciplinary action by the University, depending on the severity of the offence.
The Code of Practice details the acceptable use of Learning Resources, including the working environment, University security, safety regulations, acceptable use of IT facilities, copyright and data protection.
