Who We Are and What We Do
Our service to students and staff of the university includes the provision of high quality advice and assistance.
Information specialists are available to provide students with in depth advice on the use of research tools and bibliographic materials in their particular discipline. Those undertaking research dissertations can, by appointment, receive individual assistance. Staff are invited to contact their Academic Liaison Librarian for an introduction or update to our range of digital resources.
The Learning Resources Centre at Park Square has two dedicated training rooms equipped with high specification PCs and furnished with a good range of teaching aids. Students based at any campus may sign up for the IT workshops offered at Park Square. Subject based sessions on literature searching and information retrieval techniques are also offered at Putteridge Bury and the hospital sites.
